Why change what was never broken? MM

Matchmaking should’ve been just the way it was in the old days.

Obviously it has to be presented differently, BUT there should be a playlist for Halo, Halo 2, Halo2a, Halo3 and Halo4. Each with an unranked and ranked playlist…

Keep the voting or whatever the way it is that is fine… But with all these playlists and jumping back and forth between games has got to be one of the reasons why matchmaking is such a joke. Party problems, uneven teams, laggy games, unable to find games, I could go on for hours…

But in today’s day and age and with games like Destiny and CoD blowing Halo out of the water (the way it never was in the past) simplicity might be in the best interest of everybody. Obivously Halo doesn’t have the numbers it use to have, so cater to that! Why are there 20 playlists (exaggeration) that in many ways are the same -Yoink-… Why have a slayer playlist that involves Halo, Halo2/a and Halo4 when all those playlists already exist individually?

I will only say it once- Get it together 343, this is currently your only LIVE game and it is a complete joke. The competition is blowing right by you, and I know you have the technology to do great things…

I have all the faith in the world

That’s the problem in and of itself. The amount of playlists, that is. Making separate playlists for all five games is probably the worst option, however. Do you not realize how many playlists we would have if they did that? Far more than we do now. MCC isn’t even in the top TEN most played on xbl.

At this point, I’m beginning to think what they should have done, was made Halo 1, Halo 2, and Halo 2: A. Very, very few even liked the -Yoink- game that was Halo 4, but Halo 4 and 3 are still completely playable on the 360. Where as Halo 1 never had online to begin and Halo 2 online can’t be played anymore.

The game would have been FAR less of an ambitious project and we would likely have a functioning game, with playlists we want and ranking.

How is 10 playlists more than what we have now?

I dont think you understood what I was saying… The playlists would be:

Halo CE -ranked
Halo CE-unranked

Halo2-ranked
Halo2-unranked

Halo2a-ranked
Halo2a-unranked

Halo3-ranked
Halo3-unranked

Halo4-ranked
Halo4-unranked

Each playlist would contain numerous types of games (Slayer, Slayer BRS, Objective, etc.)

With the system now we have a playlist for each game… and on top of that we have playlists such as snipers, rumble pit, BTB, general slayer, hardcore h2, etc. etc.

No purpose of having the same playlist twice an plus I wouldn’t doubt decent people who care about there K/D go into the unranked version to stat.
