Why change the remake map Name?

Why do developers Change the name of the map that is remade Ex: Valhalla/Ragnorak
Lockout /blackout

I’ve always wandered this.

I believe it’s just to give it a new name.

They tend to make changes, so technically it isnt the same map, hence the new name.
