I really was a fan of it in halo 3 which at the time was just a fun thing to include in the game. But if you think about it in halo 5 aren’t the Spartans and Elites on the same side? There should be some task forces that fight alongside each other to train against the fight with the Promethean.
There could be a nifty way to where the covenant can start with an plasma pistol and storm rifle.
