Why Can't We Just....

…Wait?

You heard me, why can’t the majority of the community hold their criticism back until they know exactly how all these new concepts will be implemented?

It’s weird, I feel as if the general audience of games/movies/television are now more intrigued by the results and speculation than they are of the actual product.

It doesn’t take a scientist to understand how things like insta-repsawn will work.

Personally my complaint can’t be held back. I hate class-based games. I love Arena games.

Halo 4 is added custom classes, so it disappoints me.

> It doesn’t take a scientist to understand how things like insta-repsawn will work.

And it takes a genius to claim that said concepts will ruin a game…

because we’re afraid that it will fail hard like reach did.

We can have opinions on said things, and we can gather from common sense that it does not benefit with everyone sprinting added as well.

We don’t neccessarily think it will ruin the game.

Custom loadouts, random weapon drops, and all of the other stuff might play well, but it is not the Halo we want. It almost seems like it isn’t an arena game anymore.

I think most of us just want the old classic feel of games like Halo 2 back.

I think the core gameplay will be alright, I just don’t like the idea of changing the way the weapons spawn in every gamemode except classic. And putting custom classes in everything except classic.

There should be gamemode(s) with random weapon drops, but it shouldn’t be everything except classic.

Plus, we already know there are no more elites in MM. I don’t see how removing elites will help gameplay in anyway. (I’m referring to elites like they were in H2/H3)

Reach only “failed hard” in the eyes of some, for others it was just as great as any other Halo.

And if that’s you’re only argument, then…

> because we’re afraid that it will fail hard like reach did.

Reach wasn’t a fail.

It wasn’t one of the games in the original trilogy, so I never expected it to play exactly like H2/H3.

No one complained when Halo 3: ODST didn’t play like H2/H3. I am still wondering why they complain about Reach.

However, I do expect H4 to play more like the original trilogy.

Almost?? It’s certain…

My only issue is I see a lot of people saying “we” rather than “I”, frankly people speaking as if their opinion is the majority is a major issue, am I concerned about the new additions? Yes, but I have faith that the developers know better than I do seeing as how they have ALL the info, and unless someone here is a 343i employee, we don’t know jack in comparison.
