I understand that there is a “Mute All Players” function but half of the time it doesn’t work. Not for me anyway. I had to spend my last game listening to inaudible screams, laughing, and wailing. Can we just have an option to disable voice chat all together?
You can disable voice chat for all of XBL I’m pretty sure, or just start a party chat without inviting anyone and make it invite only.

I have had mute all players not work once… and it was when i really needed it. But yeah the function has literally only NOT worked once for me, and I have put alot of hours in. Funnily enough it was a player from the other team that I could hear… if only the player was giving away his position and not screaming and stomping his feat as he got Rekt then I could of rekt him even more.
Also a simple way to not hear randoms ever is to just start a “party” on the dashboard with just you in it. Problem fixed.
Just put yourself in party chat… or bring up the menu and mute the player. Plug your headset in and then just don’t wear it. It not hard to mute players or avoid hearing them. Which sucks…all these yoinks being obnoxious on the mics have really hurt the game. H5 requires quite a bit of team work to be successful it’s sad to hear games so quite now. Halo used to have a lot more communication than it has now.

I hadn’t thought of that. Thank you for the tip!
