Why can't we have our own Dedicated Server Software?

I just wish they would let us pick the Server we connect to, as we could in MCC/Halo 5. I’m in Alberta Canada (MDT) and play mainly late afternoon or early evening.

80% of my HI matches it connects me to a European server with 250 ms of ping times. That would be about 1 am to 4 am their time when i play.

20% I have 30 ms ping times, which is on the NW USA (Seattle) Server. Seattle is only 1 hour ahead of me, so I’m in synch with them for peak player times.

Obviously, the game plays like Dog Feces at 4fps (250 ms ping times).
