I know RTS games from 1999 that had custom game browsers at launch.
Pretty sure it isn’t hard to do in 2022
I go way back to 1998 Starting with the Tribes Franchise and they even had a game browser! So if you think about there really is not an excuse not to have a game browser for Halo Infinite!

While there’s no official Customs Browser, may as well remind people that before Customs Browsers existed, people used Xbox LFG posts, Discord Game Invite Links, Beer Keg LFG, Halo Customs LFG, and HaloBase LFG. Way back in CE days, there were also websites dedicated to server hosting for the majority of PC games. CE does have an in-game browser though.
In-game Customs Browsers are more of a luxury than a necessity.
Since MCC and Halo 5 got Customs Browsers, HaloBase, Halo Customs, and Beer Keg are currently unused, and while I’m sure they could whip up a Halo Infinite LFG server system in 20 minutes, nobody wants to play Halo Infinite Customs enough for them to bother. They were more or less the inspiration for 343 to make Customs Browsers, but until Forge, there’s no demand for an Infinite Customs Browser. The Customs in Infinite are so painfully limiting, that there’s not many interesting modes you could make.
The average person would rather just play MCC.
THe resonm Beer keg kinda slow was because MCC finally came out with a game browser. I used beer keg alot!
