Does anyone else think its funny that allllllll these people having questionable ban issues have no place to go and get a straight and direct answer? Why is it that 343 industries has no phone number or DIRECT E-mail or specific admin/mod to contact??? I got a voice ban for 1 week that has now lasted 2 weeks. I wasnt notified why I was banned or why my week ban turned into 2. Xbox/microsoft says it wasnt them and even they cant give me ANY HELP. I think its wrong that people pay money for this game and this service but have no place to go to get ANY issue resolved in a timely fashion. This is at least the 5th post I have made and still no answers. I have posted on other forums as well. I swear I am mad enough to call a lawyer, this isnt yahoo games, we pay for this!!!
From what I’ve heard it sounds like the ban issues are more an Xbox Live issue and not a 343 issue. Maybe take it up with them?
I got banned specifically from 343 for no reason. I called xbox live customer service and they said that it was up to 343 to return my privaleges…but they have to contact info
@ DestructiveDNA - Similar situation for me. I never received the specialization codes for Halo4 and have been looking for a 343 rep since Dec.1st. I’m a Playstation guy myself, the only reason I own an Xbox is for Halo. I bought the custom console package. I’m maxed out and can’t move forward in the game. When I called Xbox Live, they said they had no control over it and were getting update information from their own website. I asked specifically for a 343 contact number and the rep kept telling me to go to their forums for any questions. That is was the ONLY place for 343 answers…in fact, that’s how I ended up here… Now I’m stuck waiting with the rest of the Halo community for the codes to my only game, after paying a total of thirty bucks for my first month of X-box live. ( Overdraft fee) What in the hell am I supposed to do? Pissed? Yeah…definitely.
Your problem has mostly to do with “fans”
Imagine what would happen if 343i announced a “direct line” to the Administrative Team. You problem would still not be addressed because it would be buried under the “fan mail”. A direct phone number would always be busy. Look at the total number of pages this site has. It’s not all hate or complaints, it’s “fan” stuff.
I’m not defending 343i’s apparent lack of response, but they’ve probably got more “I want a 1-50 ranking system NOW” mail than “I got banned” mail, and it doesn’t look like they have a dedicated team of people that are trained and/or experienced in dealing with irate customers.
343 is easily the worst company at managing a video game. Period.
But they have your money so they don’t care. They just want you to shut up and play their little Infinity Challenge.

They would need a team larger than the current company to handle all the Hate/Love. The forums provide a way for players to express their complaints and assist one another. On most forums posters post in each other’s threads and this allows companies to get at a glance what the main issues are as they have hundreds of posts. It is currently being used as if it was facebook, where everyone opens a new thread to complain instead of posting in another’s thread just like updating their status.
This causes it to be nearly impossible to find real issues on the forums. To have the same thing happen to them at an email account or phone number would probably put them out of business.
