Because its not really a beta. The “betas” were the flight programs where they got literally the exact same feedback. This is a soft release and calling it a beta is an insult to games actually in beta testing phases.
This is basically all of the content we’re getting at launch, they’ve made that much clear. However, I’m hoping that playlists aren’t viewed as “content” rather than subsections of existing content. For example, headshots exist…BR starts exist…shields (or lack thereof) exist…so technically SWAT is in the current content pool?
I don’t know who made the decision to limit core playlists to events but they need to walk that back ASAP. Ranked is pretty fun, I get clapped in Quick Play no matter what, and BTB is waiting for a BR spawn unless you want to run around shooting weapons at their unintended/ineffective range.
Because it is very important we use this period where its in a “beta” to give as much feedback as possible.
If this was launch version, the amount of flak is gonna be way way worse.
The point of a beta is to give feedback. So we should be giving our feedback.
I do agree though that people being toxic needs to stop. And complaining about certain things like the randomization of playlists seems odd because that’s clearly due it being a beta build of the game.
Because this is a ‘beta’ in name only.
The game is almost identical to what we saw in the two technical flights. If they made almost zero changes in the months since, then they’re not going to be changing anything in the next 6 days.
They did a bad job (even after a year-long extension). Let them wear it.
Because it looks really bad to see that they have $1000 worth of cosmetics planned and they don’t have something as base as a traditional playlist implemented.
Because they have 1 week to fix everything they have done wrong, and it does not look good.
Becuase many of these systems are things that should have corrected, improved upon, and fixed, long ago.
Many of these things shouldn’t be an issue, I shouldn’t have to debate with people about $20 on the Anubis set that used to be A COMMON ITEM in Halo 5.
Becuase despite it being a beta, they still have a fully fleshed out store to try and sell stuff to everyone but Infection isn’t out yet.
How about reading their blog where they have stated this is day 1 content? Then you would see that the word “beta” is used to shield them from criticism. I can’t wait for the 8th so people like you can no longer use the “it’s a beta” excuse.
Where have they said this? Show proof that it’s only for the “beta” and people will stop talking about it. From 343’s own blog, this is how it is day 1.
People are acting like this is the way they game will be forever and nothing is gonna change at all lol. They talk about the lack of customization items like they’re not gonna add any more; same for maps, game modes, playlists, weapons… it’s like y’all realize they said this was a live-development game from the start, right?
I do really hope they fix the radar size, it’s super frustrating. But I think they will eventually, so I’m waiting for full release to start sending emails lol
Probably because of the drastic changes, additions, removals, and the fact that the beta/ early release still has microtransactions that aren’t much better than scams.
The good news: only 6 more days of people claiming this is only a beta.
The bad news: the new complaint will be that nothing new came to multiplayer with the “full release”
Because this game ALREADY IS AS RELEASE DATE, the only change it will have is the word “beta” will be removed.
All cosmetics, maps, play modes are final and NO new additions will be included “at launch”
Because they said this here: ttps://www.halowaypoint.com/news/welcome-to-the-halo-infinite-mp-beta
“While you may experience some bumps and bugs during this beta period, it does mark the official start of Halo Infinite Season 1, with all day-one maps and modes enabled as well as the full Season 1 Battle Pass.”
