Because besides the word beta, this looks like what we’re going to get on release. I made a post a few minutes ago saying I hope we get more on the 8th if you wanna check it out.
This is an early release with the word “beta” slapped on to shield it from criticism for being unfinished.
Ironically with the state the game is in they may aswell leave it as a beta for the next 6 months since I’d call this far from a polished full release game.
But yeah, if it wasn’t release you wouldn’t have a money shop.
Surely this is all the content, or almost all the content that we will have on the 8th. The problem is that in this forum people need to attract attention to show their opinion, and instead of responding to one of the hundreds of already created topics, they decide to create a new one to say exactly the same thing that someone else has already said.
The moderators should do a bit of cleaning in this subforum, because it is too lazy to enter to read anything when all the topics speak of the same thing but with totally bizarre titles to attract attention and be denoted by the rest of the users.
As much as I understand where you’re coming from, it was made quite clear that the release has all the Day 1 Content. There is no ‘MP Release’ we just got it a little earlier under the pretense of a beta so that they can make any tweaks without fear of repercussion if they need to totally reset something.
What happens on the 8th is a campaign release, with a bonus skin for gamepass subscribers.
I’m pretty sure this is the final game and barely we’re gonna see something different in the “final release” beside some playlist changes. Hope I’m wrong.
They said in the Blogpost on the 15 that this is the full day one experience, full release as if we waited to the 8th. There is no “this is just a beta”. Even if it was, so what? If there are problems, which there are, the community speaks up, discusses it and make it known.
That is the whole point of a Forum for a Game, talking about what works, what does not and what we want to be changed. There is no need to hide away until date X with critic and discussion. And it is also not negative to talk about all that.
If somone feels like talking about the topics that concern the community and have our attention then… don’t participate? If a thread has a title that seems like nonsense, do not click it.
There is no Roadmap, no communication on what will come, could be changed. The most info on upcoming content like Weekly rewards and shop bundles comes only from Dataminers. Of course the community demands info and is concerned.
Keeping silent and waiting without providing criticism, numbers and ideas won’t change anything we care about.
Some People here has been written really nice Feedback threads. And some write stuff like this game will be dead cause of 343, this game will be dead cause of monetization,… Gameplay sucks, customization sucks,… This is not Feedback.
Here’s a topic that more customizations will be available on Release (It’s written in the Store) . So why do People not wait until Release with the “There are not enough options to customize my spartan” posts?
People hate the monetization System. I understand them. Do we really need 100 Threads about how greedy they are? Even the developers has been made responsible for this… This is not Feedback.
1 year ago. The community complained about the graphic. They polished the whole game. Yesterday someone created a thread about a tweet. In this tweet (offical halo Channel) they showed the brute 1 year ago and now. This guy wrote smth like:" They have time to make Twitter posts they should fix stuff"…
Because from a technical point of view there’s no way there going to make major changes to Infinite any time soon and 343i have openly admitted that things will take a while to make changes plus people are also annoyed that 343i misled fans with one of their blogs.
Technically the MP has been released and there’s no way the multiplayer is going to be drastically different between now and the launch since they have given zero room between the ‘early access’ and the release date. First impressions can hurt any game and decisions made by 343i can also hurt the IP.
Stage 1: The game isn’t out yet, stop complaining.
When concerns are voiced on potential practices regarding information i343 has released.
Some concerns which turned out to be somewhat valid.
Stage 2: It’s just a flight, stop complaining.
At the point of flights when we’re supposed to offer feedback.
If feedback isn’t posted, less chance of things getting corrected.
Stage 3: It’s just the second flight, stop complaining.
Some first flight feedback isn’t adressed. Some stuff is still as it was before.
Stage 4: It’s just a beta, stop complaining.
We are here.
Game’s about to be released, as a beta it’s supposed to get feedback, changes have been made and they’ve announced they’re going to make further changes.
Stage 5: It’s just released, stop complaining.
Game has now been released and we’re not used to how things are, we need to get used to it first.
Stage 6: Well this is now, too late, stop complaining.
Game has been out for a while, it’s now too late to offer feedback.
Rinse and repeat stages 4 to 6, but for the seasons.
There is really no time frame to provide feedback, this is how it’s been for quite some time.
The problem is that this subforum is no longer a place to give feedback to 343i and to be able to complain correctly to discuss things, it has become a dump where people come to express their opinions without first passing a filter and making all the noise. possible.
If someone does not like something, DEMAND that a button be added to deactivate X thing.
If someone does not like the way X weapon works, DEMAND that it be changed to suit their personal tastes.
Etc, etc…
Not to mention the number of repeated threads from users who just come to trash about the game. This subforum has become a toxicity dump where nothing can be debated anymore. Someone new shows up, creates a topic calling the game rubbish and wishing 343i the worst, and they get +40 votes. This is not OK.
Days ago moderation should have created several topics with a pin where all the comments and all the feedback are agglutinated. And dedicate themselves to closing and moderating the rest of the topics that do not contribute anything and only fill the forum with garbage.
And I have no excuse to “ignore” such junk topics when they occupy 90% of the activity.
People are complaining already to make it better ASAP. This may be officially called a beta but the fact is the game is out and this is what we have. It’s not magically going to be fixed come Dec 8, the criticism is to make the 8th better than the “beta” is and we’ve already made some progress so I’m confused why you are complaining about the community complaining? It’s literally making the game better so what’s the issue? Would you rather they had not made any of the improvements they have so far? It’s called feedback and the game desperately needs it.
We all care about this game that is why everyone is criticizing it. Also this “beta” is going to be the meat and potatoes of this game at launch. There has been no reason to think that this wont be most of the content we will get so therefore we should treat it like it will be.
Overall game is great, I’m having fun but I do want this game to succeed so not only regular halo fans can enjoy it but everyone else as well.
We “waited for release,” for 6 months during flights and look what we got lol Next it is going to be “wait until season 2” then “wait until they launch firefight in Nov 2022”
