I know that saying Halo 4 is CoD in space is becoming less and less prevalent on the forum, but I still see people saying it. Can’t they just quit? No matter how much they say it, it won’t help. Whatever is in the final version of the game is what’s in it. Nothing you can do about it. Don’t buy it if you don’t want it.
And please, for yourself and the rest of us on this forum, don’t post anything in this topic about how it is CoD or how 343i is ruining Halo. There is no use in complaining because 343i decides what goes into the game, not us, and they have better things to do than read and listen to your constant complaining.
And another thing: CoD wasn’t the first game to implement the same things that Halo 4 is bringing in. CoD wasn’t the first game to have loadouts. CoD wasn’t the first game to include a mode separate from the campaign with different missions. CoD wasn’t the first to allow us to join matches that have already started. Get over it.

The reason they continue to do so is because members like you argue with them. Don’t feed the flames and they will die out. Simple.
Yours just says not to say CoD at all. Mine gives reasons as to why there is no use in saying that the game or the company is bad and gives reasons as to why the game shouldn’t be compared to CoD.
Whether everyone likes it or not, Halo is 343i’s now. They determine how it turns out, not us.
why are you making anti halo is cod post? shouldnt you do the opposite and not make a thread about it because there are more of these then the halo is cod posts.

343 will never read your thread and be like ‘‘hey this guys cool, thanks for having our back. Lets reserve something special for you’’. Sorry it will never happen and you dont stand out as the positive one in the crowd.
Secondly I dont think 343 spend alot of time on these forums to begin with as I dont ever see anyone from the studio post anything.
The thing is mcnoober with cheese is that to alot of us, we started with Halo 1 and it holds a big place in our gaming past. Alot of us dont come from the new COD generation we came from the early console FPS days.
Not like we wouldnt want to embrace change but we really dont want another clone of a game so some of us are upset.
Wouldnt you be if your favorite movie sequels trailer had nothing you liked about the original and you found out it was being filmed in a completely different style?

Not the first, but was the one to popularize them in the fps genre

The first Halo I ever played was Halo 2, but the first I ever owned was CE. I had heard of Halo, but never had a chance to play it until like 2007 or so. I fell in love with it just by playing a few games of Halo 2 splitscreen Slayer. When I first got Xbox LIVE back in 2008, I didn’t own any CoD games. The first game I ever played online was Halo 3 and I played it for a very long time. I don’t come from CoD. Sure, I have played it a Yoink!-load in the past, but I still have a love for Halo that CoD could never fulfill. I never got to play CE in its prime or Halo 2, but I made it to Halo 3 just in time. I never owned an Xbox until 2006, and I got a 360 the same year, so I never got to experience these gamesuntil long after they came out. I have only played 2 matches of Halo 2 online, so I can’t really have an opinion on them because I feel like I didn’t play enough of it online to have one. But the Halo 2 campaign is fantastic.
So, after reading this, you can tell I dont come from CoD, especially not the new ones. My favorite CoD is CoD 4 and then World at War. The rest are disappointments.
