Why cant microtransactions ACTUALLY be “micro”?

One more thing I would add is that I think items should drop in price over time.

New items should be sold at the base price, once they have been around for 6 months they should drop by atleast 25% and then again at one year. So if an item costs $2 new, it will cost $1.50 in six months time and $1 in one year.

Not only is it artificial, its arbitrary. The only reason rarity exists is so 343 has another reason to upcharge the ever living f*** out of items that are otherwise worth the exact same amount (which is basically worthless).

I would have probably bought the Warmaster armor… But it’s $12 and comes bundled with items I would never use. The only thing I can remember for that bundle I actually liked was just the helmet.

For $12, I can get a lot of games on the Summer Sale, and it’s hard to justify spending $12 on one armor set with a bunch of stuff I don’t want. I’m sure they’ll update the store to be more like the MannCo store, for example, but I suspect that the prices are still going to be absurd - the helmet for the Entrenched core was $9 with two other pieces, and I just can’t justify spending $9 on one helmet.

Yeah, max amnt should be 3 bucks. Nothing in any store cosmetic wise is worth anything more than that.

I had the same thing week 1 of season 2. They dropped the scout helmet in a bundle for $12.

Nope not buying a freaking bundle for a single piece of armor. I’m sure as hell not spending $12 on digital goods that will never be useful in any other way or carry over to something else.

Other than buying the campaign for my friend I haven’t spent a single penny from my wallet on this content vacant game that they’re trying to sell us the pieces of. The only money you’ll be getting from me 353i/Microsoft is what I cash in my rewards points for. Still not doing that really either. Could’ve done it with the scout helmet, but I didn’t. It’s not worth supporting this BS just to have my favorite helmet.
