So I’m playing through H2A and I’m trying to unlock terminals. However, when I open them, it just loads the Halo Channel app for a second or two, and then immediately kicks me back out into the pause menu of the game. It’s done something like this for every terminal so far; the Oracle is being extra stubborn. I’ve been trying to unlock it for an hour now. How do I make these work?

Thats the same happening to me the whole time but im getting achievements for it even if the terminal is closing immediatly after opening.
I have been having this issue too. It hasn’t been giving me the achievements for em either. It’s extra annoying because all of the extra story is in those terminals. It seems like this whole thing could have been avoided if the terminal videos were included on the disc.
Happened to me with the terminals and skulls, without achievements in halo ce for me.
You don’t happen to have your console connected to some kinda external recorder such as an Elgato Game Capture HD do you? The terminal videos on the Halo Channel (and probably all of the videos on there) trigger the consoles HDCP (high definition copyright protection) and wont let them play while it’s running through the recorder.
Plug the console directly into the television and it should work properly.
If the console is already plugged into the television and this is still happening, then it could just be buggy now too, along with just about everything else in this game.

Nah, no capture card. I’ll just have to chalk it up to bugs in the Halo Channel app. It wasn’t behaving very well while I was trying to watch Nightfall either.
Also, the fact that game consoles these days can reject capture devices irks me. Ain’t nothing wrong or overly illegal with posting your L33T Halo 2 speedrun to Youtube (but I digress.)
