Can’t see who’s talking in Halo 5 Multiplayer anymore. Is there going to be a fix or revert back to the old way it was? I would like to mute specific people but I can’t figure out who is making noise. Thank you.
Are you sure you’re not in a party chat?
I just checked and I am not in party chat. The noise is definitely coming from in-game. I usually just mute people one by one until I figure out who’s making noise but that’s not convenient in the middle of a game. It used to show who was chatting or making noise in the past but doesn’t anymore.
I have noticed this as well. in the lobby there was one of those yoinks playing music over his mic. you have to mute all in the lobby. then of course the yoink ended up on my team when the game started and none of the speakers were lit up so I had to mute each player then unmute them till I found the yoink.
Yeah what LethalQ said. In the past it would show you but lately it doesn’t tell you anymore.
It disappears for some games for me. I don’t know why.
It’s been like this for a few months now. My guess is it’s a bug.

Then you are simply experiencing a bug that many of us encounter from time to time. It will eventually start showing again. Try resetting your game, if that doesn’t work you’ll just have to wait it out for a little.
Well today I did see the speaker light up in an action sack game so it must just happen sometimes.
