In Reach I could see what a friend was playing. Using that info I could decide if I wanted to join him. Apparently you can’t do that in Halo 4. If I’m queued up to join a friend, under Game Type it just says “Matchmaking.” Gee, that is so not helpful since I already know he’s playing something in War Games.
Am I missing something or is this another one of those really obvious features that didn’t make it into Halo 4?
Same here, when I check my friend’s status I only see “playing a war game, in match-making” but what game type I don’t know.
This is one of many details where I think they really dropped the ball. I wonder if they left those things out because they didn’t have time to get them in, though that seems unlikely.
in past HALO games you COULD SEE
what playlist
what game
what game type
and how much time is left on the clock or the score / and when they were searching and when they were sitting in lobby
Halo 4
Maybe in lobby
maybe searching
no clue how much time or what the score is
In my opinion these are big steps backwards
Hopefully they can fix this somehow.
