I have 46 experience in halo 3 but yet I’m still a recruit. I’m confused on why that is. Someone anyone please respond

'm actually the opposite, I’ve gone down from 40 or so exp and I’ve gone down to 13 yet I’m stuck on rank 26 for lone wolves.

OP, you need to be a specific level and have a specific set of experience. At your current level, it just means you need MORE wins, that is it, at 46xp, you are pretty close to getting to the next rank.

You don’t need to increase your highest skill until Gunnery Sergeant. You can have highest skill of 0 and reach Gunnery Sarge with 50 xp. In theory, OP should be a Sergeant now.

You probably got into a game with a modder who changed the exp reward/penalties for that game. They can make it where if you win you get X amount of exp and if you quit out, you lose X amount of exp. X can literally be any value between 1-130k; 130k is the max exp for halo 3. It won’t show on your service record but you probably have a negative amount of exp. The only way you will be able to tell is if you check your service record using another account. This will allow you to see how much negative exp you have. For instance, you could have like neg 10k or something. So in this case in order to get past recruit, you would have to win over 10k games; Stupid I know. Modders really ruined this game : (

WHAT THE F I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO RANK UP AND I HAVENT REGARDLESS OF THE AMOUNT OF WINS AND I CANT JUST BECAUSE OF SOME D-BAG MODDER.>:(
