Why can't I play BTB and FFA ?

So i got Anniversary but without a code. Is it possible to play BTB and FFA on it or not? I think it’s weird I need to buy the DLC for it on Reach because I do not have a code

The Big Team Battle & FFA playlists with just Anniversary maps were removed due to low populations.

If you want to play those maps in BTB & FFA then you’ll have to either buy the maps from the marketplace or take it back to your retailer and ask them for the code (unless it was pre-owned).

It was pre-owned, it was from family and they sold the key…

I still think it’s a shame they removed BTB and FFA

yeah…but you can still find them in regular playlists, however, you have to make sure everyone your playing with has the DLC, or else it won’t pop up.

It sucks how poorly implemented DLC maps have been in the post Halo 3 era. Good luck getting to play BTB on anniversary maps.
