I can’t mute people and so many people have broken mics.
For the love of God and my sanity, fix it
I just mute my TV when i am playing a match on warzone. That how i deal with the BS.

But then there’s the issue of you can’t hear what’s actually going on

That is a God-awful solution.
My ear has a splinter and hurts so I’ll chop it off
There’s a few ways to do it:
- Press X, choose Recent Players, mute away.
- Wait until the game starts. Check game score, press X. All players have been muted.
Done.
You can go into the Xbox One system settings and set it so you only hear voice from people on your friends list or people in your party. This solves the problem of annoying lobbies.
Hit that little button with the two squares I believe and then which ever speaker next to the players name is lighting up mute them, or press x to mute all that simple… you have to hit like two buttons.
Press back button, press X. I do it nearly every game.
