Why cant i get this armour

I had bought a physical copy of halo nightfall, but I can’t get the armour for watching it. Why do I have to but a digital version

Because there is no way for a DVD to interact with your Halo 5 profile and unlock the armour, the digital version interacts via the Halo Channel which has been set up to do this.

So I have to buy another copy of halo nightfall -Yoink- move 343 -Yoink- move

I guess they could have included a code inside the DVD / BluRay but it was a Halo Channel promotion, so the armor is tied to using the app to unlock it.
