For the past five days I have had a message pop up on my Halo 5 Guardians start-up menu. “Error authorizing user for Halo 5 Guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes.” followed by “Profile sync error…” Etc. Now I thought this was normal until it started happening to me for 5 days straight. Now I have had recent conversations with some of Microsoft’s support group who were a huge help for me! If you need proof here is a reference code to some of the documented data. Code: 1332378894.
But for the sake of the forums here is what happened the past 5 days.
It all started with the Halo 5 Guardians World Championships… Day 1 I had just gotten off of The Masterchief Collection when I decided to play some halo 5, that’s when I put in the game, pressed start and then the first message came up. “Error authorizing user for Halo 5 Guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes.” followed by “Profile sync error…” Etc, now I thought this was normal so I decided to wait to play until the next day.
So I put the game in, pressed start and… “ATTENTION!” followed by “Error authorizing user for Halo 5 Guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes.” followed by “Profile sync error…” ETC. I have made multiple attempts such as resetting my Wifi, Removing my account, even deleting the data and downloading again… Talk about frustrating!
