Why can't I charge up my Plasma Pistol/Caster?

Dear Halo 5 Support team and The community I can’t charge the Plasma Pistol up to disable vehicles and I can’t charge up the plasma caster to shoot further with it. Is there anyway I can fix it? I’ve already tried uninstalling Halo 5 and Installing it again (Its a Digital Copy) And the problem was still there.

So if its possible can I get a new digital copy if mine is corrupted?

It’s probably your controller. Are you using elite?

No I’m using the regular stock Xbox one controller and I’ve tried using other controllers but the problem stayed. I think I have a corrupted game file.
