Why can't all armor remakes be as true as Noble?

In my opinion, Noble is the best armor remake 343 has ever done in terms of staying true to the original. Why can they do that with all their remakes? Mark V Alpha has it the worst. Mark VI’s chest and shoulders don’t match up to the original. Mark IV is pretty accurate except for the forearms and codpiece. If you are going to remake an armor, please make it true to the original.

The art style for this game just doesn’t mix well with the old style (I’m looking at you, shoulder pads!).

I honestly hate the armour design of Halo 4 and 5, it’s like someone started drawing on a page and was never told to stop. The armour in Reach was the best in the series because it was bulky, gritty and sharp because that is what armour is. I mean, what the hell is this: http://i.imgur.com/KZsObxF.jpg and this http://36.media.tumblr.com/53ebb8dd959239ac12e687f97fb71c3a/tumblr_nve0xvDr0P1ruienfo1_400.png

Much of the armor now is power-rangeresque lol

What really bothers me is that 343 seemingly changed the Mark V Alpha helmet to avoid it looking too close to the Mark IV, even though it is said in the lore that it is virtually the same helmet modified for a different armor. Same deal with the Mark IV forearms, which are identical to the forearms of the Mark VI, but were changed in the Halo 5 Mark IV because 343 doesn’t like look alikes. Even though the exclusive helmets from Halo 4 that didn’t have a body just copy & paste one from another armor in Halo 5. But that’s none of my business

Y’all watched some bad power rangers!

Yea… even the Noble armor shows where the shoulder pieces should be located instead of the stupid upper arm where your bi cep is.

Deadeye uses Fotus

Locus uses Aviator

Strider uses Enforcer

But Mark V Alpha can’t copy Mark IV, aight dog.

Then maybe the new art style shouldn’t be as bad… I mean, some armours look fantastic alongside the old stuff, namely the campaign armours. Why couldn’t they stick to those sort of designs across all of the armours?

I’m still rocking Noble to this day. Despite all the other armor I’ve unlocked and I was done with Silver packs before the update dropped xD
Would love to see that level of recreation with other armor sets.

there are 3 mark 6 variants. use the newest one (looks closest in my eyes)…but, I see what you mean, as it is why I switched to CENTURION. : ,

And 343 has the guts to pretty much copy paste the Halo 4 Mark VI design on to the Halo 5 Mark VI [GEN1] and call it the original that MC wore in Halo 3. The only real difference between the Mark VI and Mark VI [GEN1] is the codpiece.

Loool lazy devs xD, but they are too lazy to actually slightly change the Mark IV to a Mark V helmet. Instead we get an abomination of a helmet.

I think the overall look 343 was going for in Halo 5 with the armors was more of a sport-like appearance (hence some of the stripes and numbers on certain armors). After all, this is technically all a simulation to train spartans.

The armor design in halo 5 is very poor compared to halo reach, some of these new armor pieces are just abominations

Seeker looks like it has a coffee machine on its head

The Keurig 3.43… It’s new.

Let me get a shot of espresso😆

A lot of the armor is very small and lightly built. I like smaller armor builds but I think it needs some tanky sets for diversity reasons.

I stopped noticing what armor people were wearing after Halo 3’s Hyabusa and Flame Helmets.
