why can't 343 just remake the armour correctly?

I dont understand how hard it is to just remake an armour set peice by price correctly. The only thing they have managed to get almost correct are helmets except that abomination in halo 5 (mk V alpha) god that thing makes me cringe.

And the mk VI in H4 and H2A, you really couldn’t make it look ANYTHING like halo 3’s? Was it really that hard to do? You was able to make a brilliant model in the H2A campaign but when it came to multiplayer it all of a sudden became impossible? I don’t get it, what was the reason? To make it more realistic? That ship sailed when you went with the cartoon look.

This is just a little pet peeve that gets to ke whenever I see armour remakes but does anyone agree with me here?

H2A & H2AMP run on different engines, H2AMP runs on a modified(?) H4 engine, hence why the armour looks similar.

Regarding Halo 2: Anniversary, Saber Interactive made the campaign one, and Certain Affinity made the multiplayer one. Those are two completely different companies with different visions for how the armor should look. 343 Industries had nothing to do with it.

Correct.

In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if when Halo 4 comes to PC MCC, and the armour customisation is expanded like the 2 and 3, that Halo 2A multiplayer didn’t get a bit of love in that regard.

Even if it’s only between the 3 character models present in the current system, it would be nice to interchange them.
