Iām not sure what your issue is with me. The OP asked why he canāt use two of the various armor items together. I replied by saying to not worry about it because said armor items do nothing and will not impact his gaming experience in any way. If I am wrong, please correct me so I know how to respond to similar questions in the future.

You didnāt answer my question. I was just letting the OP know that whatever armor he was asking about was useless. Can you say otherwise and prove me wrong?
If itās in the game it has a use, just because you donāt find it useful means nothing

Cosmetics that donāt look bad paired together, overlap in a weird way, or clip into each otherās models should definitely be allowed to be used together. This should apply to all slots: helmet, chest, arms, ect. Hopefully ā343ā is already working on a system such as this behind the scenes and arenāt quite ready to tease it just yet!

Iām not trying to be funny at all, Iām just trying to help players understand that such things as the OP mentioned will not impact their gameplay experience at all whatsoever and thereās no need for them to waste their money or time on them.
customization makes the game more fun, so it affects the gameplay

You know what, youāre right. Aesthetics donāt matter in any way regarding gameplay.
That said, it does impact the experience, depending on individual perspective. You donāt get a gameplay change, so to you itās useless. Itās a fair viewpoint thatās entirely understandable.
It is not, however, the only viewpoint. As with most things in life people put emphasis on different things depending on who they are. Personalising things has always been a thing that lots of people enjoy.
I like customising my Spartan. Itās ultimately useless, but it does give me enjoyment. Itās no different to putting body kits on my cars in racing games. To go a step further itās no different to me painting my walls or putting up pictures in my house. Itās just something to look at. It doesnāt serve any practical purpose other than invoking an emotional response.
Now, if you want to continue dismissing other peopleās opinions just because you donāt personally derive enjoyment from aesthetic customisation, then fine, but donāt be surprised when people donāt agree with you or call you out for not even attempting to understand their side of the debate.

Iām not really that bothered about it. Sure, itās annoying when the battle items are mostly locked, and there were tons of unlockable items in 5, but itās not going to tempt me to pay for them 
Even better question, why are we limited to one vehicle custom option?
You can only have a grill, windshield or mud flaps. You canāt have all three.

There is no customization at all. No matter what you do(unless you mod) your spartan will function exactly the same as all others in-game regardless of which useless armor you waste your time selecting.
Thereās simply no enjoyment to be had as not only does the various armor have no function you canāt even see it during games. Iām not sure what exactly youāre talking about here. Maybe kids like it because they think it is helping them?
Simple, they need to drip feed the shinies man, it might release as an add on down the track.
The not so simple part is whether the add ons are modular.
