why can marines see you in active camo..

ridiculous. blows your cover, die and all reqs a waste.
patch?

The AI is immune to camo apparently. I was playing a WZFF match on ARC a while back and it was the dreaded “Defend the Garage” objective. I used a camo, sneaked inside, and hid in a corner on the first floor waiting for the timer to run out. A couple of Soldiers run down the stairs and immediately start shooting me like I had a giant neon arrow pointed at my head. No enemies saw me go inside and I was sitting completely still for several seconds. But no, this is Halo 5 and the AI is omniscient.

Needless to say, it was a wasted camo.

2 layers of camo are needed to be invisible from the Marines. Ie, at least 6 REQ points, 2 active camos.

Ugh. Someone explain to me how this makes sense outside of helping us burn through REQs?
I’ve never tried stacking camo, does it make you harder to see (than just using one) while moving?

They use to stack time but that was quickly patched. I don’t ever recall the effect stacking

Because the AI is a cheating -Yoink-.

Wish we could go back to the AI of Halo 3.

The AI being a little bit dumb and unpredictable is what made them fun. Now we’re stuck with enemies that move and react too quickly and can 360 noscope you out of your banshee across the map.

Those giant glasses they wear aren’t there just for eye protection

Standard issue Marine helmets have better optics than any of the hundreds of Spartan helmets or visors.

The AI is so weird in Halo 5. They need to bring back the AI of CE. Now you can run over elites while you’re barely even moving, they don’t even try to get out of the way.

Mate … I had the same idea than you but couldn’t try it for the moment. You save me a req card… Sorry for you, seemed a good idea…

The marines tend to blow my cover on assault version of storm break, I’m sneaking in through the bottom opening and no one sees except for that one marine that nobody picked off. Now I’m forced to kill him and reveal myself on the radar or try to keep moving but are still at risk for an enemy to see the marine shooting at me. I never realized they saw through active camo tho, I don’t use those much.

Because aim bot?

I pretty much exclusively play WZFF nowadays and for this very reason I sell all of my Active Camo REQs. They are literally worthless in that game mode. It’s ridiculous.

If you move everyone can see you in active camo.

Lol this happens to me all the time the best thing you can do is get a headshot as quickly as possible.

Unless it’s a player. All you need to do is crouch

Sometimes IL put on the speed booster armor MOD so I crouch walk about the same speed as I normally would without crouching and I stay invisible. It helps get to tanks and mantis faster.

They have special eyes!

I’m gonna test this…but I call BS for the time being. Also I thought the cheapest active camo was 4…
