like when i set a weapon to red team ansd im on blue i can pick up that weapon
It’s always been that way in previous games. Team settings don’t affect weapons like that.

This. However, it doesn’t make much sense to me. Why can you even set a weapon to be a certain team’s? It doesn’t affect anything.

It’s probably just that certain properties/fields are standard on all Forge objects, even when the objects themselves aren’t coded to react to anything.
I guess a comparable example would be that all placed objects in Bethesda RPGs support X, Y, and Z rotations, even though nearly all actors (placed character models) ignore the X and Y rotations and remain upright. (Actually, X represents whether you’re looking up or down, but your character doesn’t tilt to match it, and I think it stays at zero for all other characters. But still.)
