The fact that there is an issue with latency, spawning, and game feature issues that have been reported on the multiplayer forum and there has not even been communication that these problems have been noted is ridiculous. This game is a feature on game pass and should be an easy monthly due that Microsoft, but who would pay for a lack of customer service/communication. This is a good indicator as to what will happen after the initial support is over for Halo Infinite is over. This quality of service does not warrant the cost of a $70 game and a live subscription. Not looking for any immediate fixes for anything, just some form of communication.
They should work on their communication towards their consumers but I still believe they have been focusing so much to make Infinite and it’s new engine the game that we all want. I’m sure they have noted what works and doesn’t work with the MCC but haven’t said anything to us as you said is disappointing. Hopefully things are still being worked on in the background after they slowly roll out updates.
Post about this over on the Infinite board:

What is it exacty that we all want that they are supposedly working so hard to accomplish?

Even if they aren’t working hard to resolve the issue, they need to communicate that this is the game they are satisfied with.
The main question is why would you even consider buying Halo infinite? Havent you wasted enough money on sub standard games from 343? Halo 4? Halo 5? MCC updated even worse than before?
you do understand that they know many will buy the game simply because it has Halo in it right? 343 was created to milk the remainder of the name. Its a cash grab. There is no talent for Halo at 343. This has been displayed front and center 3 times already. Don’t expect much from infinite if you plan to buy.
This should be in the Halo 5 forums rather than the MCC as that is a new game and the last game they made (If you’re talking about indicators).
By the way if you buy the disc second-hand you might be able to pick it up for less than $15
I disagree, 343 has been communicating pretty good. Sure could be a bit better but the information about the games are out there all you have to do is go read about it. They can’t spoon feed it to each individual player. Just read all the post here in waypoint. They have a news section with a lot of info. They do a weekly community update on Halo games, there are threads posted at the top of each section of the forums with information in it. Starting clicking and read through it all. You may be amazed at how much info is out there… And that is just waypoint. You can look at Reddit, Halo Twitter page, Halo Facebook page, and probably more with just a Google search.

Want to send me an article that denotes as to why so many people are experiencing latency on “dedicated servers” or why there isnt a priority dedicated server based on mutual distance? Or why the spawn points don’t make any sense and haven’t been reset to stock? Or why there is not veto system? You are right, they have spoken about what game types they will add to this game that plays worse than it did in 2009. You’re saying positive things, but this is a paid for experience not a favor they’re doing.

No I am not doing your research for you. They have addressed servers for players in less populated areas and will be coming out with a patch to expand matchmaking to help them get into games. Spawn points seems ok to me, sure I get some bad ones but I got bad ones back in the day as well, they removed voting because enough players like myself got tired of players voting the same thing over and over. We want to be able to play the game as a collection as this game is supposed to be. The bugs in MCC are due to the rushed development and not being able to get all the engines to play nice together on a new platform. They have addressed quite a bit. There will be more updates coming out so we will have to see if things improve even more.
I’m just throwing this out there regarding communication, I feel 343i don’t communicate as well as other companies, example every time I go onto my xbox app, you always see Fortnight constantly communicating with their clients regarding their game including issues that they are resolving. Simple communication like this goes a long way, it’s professional and part of the key to success if you want to keep clients. The forums are full of unhappy customers and I personally feel 343i could do better in this area as many issues seem to fall into a big black hole and go unanswered or answered too late. Just my thoughts…
If anything, 343 in the past was horrible at communicating, true. However, ever since Bonny came on stream last year and admitted all the bad things 343 did, and how they needed to be more transparent, there has been improvement- BIG improvement! The insider program was a huge step in that particular promise. We, the fans, were included in the process of MCCs fixes.
Sure there’s bugs, but you know, it takes time to iron them out. Yes, 343 were hella slow but things are getting looked into and they cant constantly release information to every problem. There needs to be patch notes, updates and ‘whats news’ about that. Often there is devs responding on the forums, reddit and twitter saying it’s been noted. You just gotta look a bit more into things my dude.
There are at least 2 high profile Discord channels I know of that are used to track issues and gather feedback about MCC - one being the official Halo Discord and the other being Postums own Discord server that he set up. In addition to that they are talking on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Reddit and here on Waypoint with the numerous pinned feedback threads. They can’t respond to everything, but have been replying.
