Why aren't you excited?

Why are people not excited for halo 5 when it is the first brand new halo title that will be releasing on a next gen console? I mean 343 has the power to add in so much that hasn’t even been shown yet. Large scale battles, aerial warfare, oceanic battles, new weapons, new vehicles, new storyline, maybe a much longer campaign and even a lot of other multiplayer modes that still haven’t been announced yet. What if Halo 5: Guardians might be the resurrection of the Halo universe that draws in millions of ex-players. Why keep complaining when you don’t know whats in the game

Edit:
what i was trying to say by large scale battles, aerial warfare, etc. was that they are things that can possibly be added into the games that most people wanted in the past Halo games.

Disappointments of 4 and the MCC would be the natural reason.

I’m (and I doubt i’m alone) taking the wait and see approach.

You can’t guarantee any of those things will be added in Halo 5. That’s one reason off the bat…

What if it’s not? Why get that excited when you don’t know what’s in the game either?

I prefer to let it be a surprise, is all…

Because of Halo’s recent track record, people prefer not to get their hopes up so early, and are asking the tough questions first. Sounds plausible if you ask me…

i think a lot of people are excited, but you wont see it until after e3

Just worried because of 343i record with Halo so far. Nothing but disappointments with them.

Like Bryanneo said Halo 4 and MCC made me lose confidence. Then when I first played the beta I felt shocked playing it. It kind of looked and felt like COD at first and didn’t really like it. After a few matches I could feel the halo’ness come through but just makes me unsure of the direction halo 5 will go. Also lack of 4 player split screen really bums me out. I will be willing to give it a chance if the reviews are good and if they keep the 4 player split screen but I am definitely going to rent it before I buy.

I’m really excited

Lots of people are excited, including myself.

I’m really excited. And the fact that my local stores ran out of pre-order copies like a month ago tells me that a lot of of people (at least from Mexico City) are really excited too

EVERYONE IM MORE EXCITED THAN YOU  YOU CANT BEAT MY HYPE

Because Elites have yet to be confirmed for MP for no reason.

That’s what’s riding my decision for buying Halo 5.

I think most of us are hopeful, but don’t want to be let down again. These are the same people that have made Halo 4 and TMCC. I really want Halo 5 to be successful and bring Halo back to the top, but I am very skeptical and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.

I am super excited! The beta was super addicting and was the most fun I’ve had in any Halo multiplayer since Halo: Reach! That alone is one reason I want it now!

I can’t be excited so far out, it’ll kick in a little after E3, settle down again and about two weeks out I’ll be drooling thinking about that Limited Collectors 0.0

Because it’s hard to get hyped when 343i messed up Halo 4, with Reach being not Bungie’s best work so it’s hard to get interested by the average gamer. If 343i really want to get people hyped then they need to pull something epic, innovative at E3 because so far 343i haven’t shown anything to get seriously hyped about since they can’t even get the basic game design right first before implementing new ideas. The problem with Halo 5 is the only reason to get interested in the game is for the story but that seems to be the only selling point at the moment due to how bad the beta the was.

I’m very excited for Halo 5, placed my pre-order yesterday

Because of multiple conflicting and unnecessary design choices that were made/changed.

Also the lack of Sangheilian love, the lack of understanding of what made the original Halos so great, and the aesthetic/artstyle just doesn’t do it for me.

I aggree.
Once they see how it looks they will probably love it.

I’m actually really excited, the beta was fantastic and HuntTheTruth is really intriguing. So longing for E3 to get some idea of the tone of the Campaign and some more features like BTB and Firefight

I AM!
