Why aren't people remaking old maps

So I am kind of wondering why we don’t either see 343 or the community remake old maps. I get I could go and remake them but ill be honest I just am no longer willing to put forth the effort to mess with forge.

I think there was a lot of really good old maps and would like to see some top creaters make these maps again.

Personally battle creek, lockout, and halo 2 blood gultch.
The pit would also be an awesome map.

What maps would you guys like to see and is there already really good remakes?

Yep what this guy posted, and some are quite nice but others could use some adjusting for sure.

If the forum for this exist could it be possible to have a playlist for this? I think it would be a lot of fun in arena and unlike mcc you would have the same server issues of trying to bounce between different versions.

Just a thought of course I realize there could be reasons that are unsaid or hard to explain.
