The crosshair has always turned red when placed on an enemy player. I was playing infinite on series x for the majority of the time. But I sold my series X because I just built a gaming PC. Went to continue playing Infinite at a glorious 144fps and that’s when I noticed the crosshair not turning red. like on Xbox. Confused I googled it to learn 343 removed red reticle from the PC version. If players are going to hack and cheat removing red reticule is not going to stop it. Punishing every person who plays on PC is not the right answer. Halo has always been my favorite game. Halo will continue to be my favorite franchise. But I really dont appreciate being treated as a second class player because I play on PC. This makes zero sense and needs to be addressed. Period.

As for the state of red reticle on PC, we still believe that keeping this as is and making it harder to develop certain cheats is the right decision for the health of the game.
