I don’t know how to make lazy links. Sorry. But in that clip, I’m watching over a buddy who’s in a scorpion. I see a dude run up behind him, I unload my needler into him, he hops on the back and the needles supercombine and he explodes… except he’s still alive. What the -Yoink- is up with that?
I honestly cant explain this one. I’ve never heard of being harder to kill when boarding a vehicle. My best guess is that he has upgraded shields on and that somehow barely kept him alive. I could be wrong. I have little experience with upgraded shields as I don’t prefer to use it.
Yeah it’s pretty lame. You can’t even kill them with splash damage with the wraith like you could before. It’s pretty lame. Especially since they have made it so much easier to board vehicles.
From the angle in the video, it almost looks like the supercombine explosion hit the vehicle, and not the player.
But you also did miss quite a few shots, and didn’t smartscope for the improved accuracy/tracking either, so it didn’t really help the situation. It might also be the improved shields like everyone is saying.
A theater clip would probably shine a better light. It’s certainly not the intended behavior that the enemy should survive if we have the “Busted” medal around.
