343i is doing something great for the series it makes it so matchmaking doesn’t get as repetitive i have been a little skeptical about some things there doing but there starting to grow on me. I dont want another halo 2 matchmaking remake because i want new this is why cod sucks you have learned everything about the game so once you get the new nothing is different. 343i will probably make a playlist for all you classics. The specializations are awesome its another thing you have to work for. honestly there is still 2 more specialization maybe one will counter the one you don’t like. people would pay halo 4 at E3 for 10 minutes hop back in line and wait 2-3 hours just to play another game. The Armor may not be what your used to you want your old halo 3/reach helmet. I think the armor looks fine. The Specialization can easily be countered
Wetworks-wear turtlebeaches
Pioneer-nothing to counter
Engineer-The weapons still spawn in a general area
Tracker-nothing real special
Rogue-This just seems like a team swat and team sniper mod
Stalker-Like everyone has said work as a team that is what halo is about i agree it should be taken out in rumble pit or lone wolves
pathfinder-turret really not that special id take a br over turret, omg it cool downs faster who gives a -Yoink-
operator-once again encourages team work on both ends. blue team drive and guns while red team is trying to destroy it together
I honestly think people want halo 4 to be the way they want to 343i game i want stuff but i probably wont get it
People who have played it says i acts like halo 3 with armor abilities.
honestly i think what made halo 3 more fun halo reach is the community people are always in parties in reach in halo 3 people are in game chat i honestly hope there party chat restrictions. Also people invited people to custom games lobby we don’t need a custom game matchmaking lobby if the community can just get along
> People who have played it says i acts like halo 3 with armor abilities.
And that is why I complain.
My guess here:
Because they now have to change the way they play.
Just guessing.

Wow that makes perfect sense… so it must be wrong. I’m sure someone will be along to prove that with a incredibly boring paragraph along the lines of “nuh uh.”

Why halo 3 had equipment i think its quite a good replacement. The game will probably play like halo ce, halo 2, halo 3, halo reach itll play like halo 4 seriously play halo 3 im done living in the past im ready for the future

Also nostalgia probably plays a big role. When i was 20, CE just came out and it was the BEST GAME EVAAAAARRRRRR!!!1!!1!!!
When I go back and play it now, it’s still fun, but it feels incredibly dated.
The same with Halo 2 & 3, they are still fun to play, but feel sluggish and dated in the context of modern shooters.
Nostalgia can play a huge role in perception.

Nuh uh you didn’t!
because they spent all this time putting useless -Yoink- in the game and then they come out and say they didn’t have enough time to put something in as simple as a spectator mode

Bro, no hard feelings!
I am going to paste a post I made in a previous thread;
343 are in a serious business, and they are trying to make a name for themselves.
If they just shipped a re-skinned Halo 3 they would not get the praise or recognition that they deserve. Halo would stick out as a big name to be reckoned with, not 343. But if they make a bold move, take a few risks, and change the hands a little bit, then they have a chance to become a company to be reckoned with.
If Halo 4 turns out a big success (Not only financially, but in terms gameplay and replayability), they will have successfully re-evolved this franchise, and will give it the refreshment it needs.
You cannot use the same formula for more than a decade without it getting stale, it needs some changes to spice it up.
The changes they are making (I believe) will benifit Halo in the long run.
For those who think specializations are too much, I’m willing to bet they won’t have a big enough effect to upset the players. We don’t even have all the details yet.

Terribly sorry reposting what you said ,all the complaining has annoyed me
My only major complaint right now is that they got rid of Firefight. I am unsure, however, about the rumors regarding Spartan Ops not being playable offline and that it is only for Golds. I think that those rumors are misleading, however, and what 343 meant to say is: Online co-op and matchmaking, for Spartan Ops, are for golds only.
I hope they have more than just difficulty options to tweak in Spartan Ops. If 343 say it is THAT good…
