Why are you buying Halo 5?

Is it for the story, the multiplayer, Warzone? All of those reasons are a small part of why I’m buying this game but it’s mainly for Forge and Custom Games since I’ve been a HUGE fan of them since Reach. Everything else in the game will keep me entertained for a month or two but Forge and Custom Games are going to keep me playing this game until Halo 6 comes out. I hope they don’t mess it up somehow. Why are you buying Halo 5?

I am buying Halo 5 because…
Halo!

Every little thing my friend.

Currently only the Story will be near unquestionably why I buy Halo 5.

But that can also be broken down to the Campaign’s Story, Custom Games, as well as the Online Multiplayer which includes dedicated servers and Warzone as it’s part of the Multiplayer experience/offering. Personally, I’m greatly looking forward to Warzone as well as Breakout, Strongholds, and Slayer, but I’m also staying hopeful that we’ll have SWAT, Snipers, Regicide (team), CTF, Ricochet, and Extraction available to play at release too.

Story and I loved the beta despite it having sprint and the new abilities.

Return to open campaign levels
Long overdue squad commands
We’re at a very interesting point in the story
Warzone looks amazing
New Spartan abilities that were long overdue
Free map DLC
Return to arena gameplay
Stable 60fps

I’m sure I’m missing a lot of other things, and I’m sure there are things that have yet to be revealed. And if 343 continues to build off of this framework…my God. Imagine how awesome Halo 6 will be.

Besides the fact that it’s a new Halo game and I’m excited for the story, it’s a high quality game that offers a lot of things that other games don’t or can’t match even when they try.

When I buy Halo 5, I get to play an awesome Campaign. What shooters have campaigns as good as Halo’s anymore? 4 player co-op as Blue Team? Good luck finding a co-op campaign game this year that can beat that. I get to play a traditional Arena multiplayer experience and while that may not be as insane as something like Unreal Tournament (a fond childhood memory), it still pays its respects to another time in video game history (as well as Halo’s roots) that few games seem to care about anymore. Then I also get to play something that’s huge and battlefield-esque with Warzone, where I can kind of chill a bit but still bring it if I’m feeling like I have something to prove. Not to mention Warzone has all these cool variations of weapons and vehicles, etc with some AI to kill as well.

Then if I’m really feeling serious and I’ve got a few friends online, I can jump into Breakout where I can really stress myself out over the smallest things that happen :stuck_out_tongue: The point is, Halo has so much variety and the quality of gameplay is consistently excellent across it’s big modes. Battlefront can go ahead and try to make a smaller Arena experience if they want but lets be honest here, it’s not going to come close to touching Halo 5’s take on Arena. Battlefront will be very good for one thing and one thing only: Large-Scale Warfare. Anything else, you might as well play a different game. Fallout 4 will be the same thing: very good for a single player experience. If you want to do anything with friends, you’re not playing that game.

Halo 5 has enough to keep me interested in hopping across its modes, which are all excellent.

Exactly. Halo is just consistently excellent in practically every regard. It’s a top notch gaming experience unrivaled by any other modern shooter, that’s why I’m buying Halo 5.

I’m buying it because of the exciting story and interesting multiplayer.

I’m extremely pumped for this game.

I remember going to a church lock-in and they had a LAN set up for H2. That was the first time I played Halo and that was probably one of the best times I’ve had playing a game. After that, I had to get halo 2 and every day after school, my friends and I would walk to my house and play for hours till it got dark. That’s how I got good with a sniper and got my name, OSOK which stuck with me throughout the years :’)

When Halo 3 came around to release, I didn’t even have a 360 but I still bought the game, lol. I just enjoyed Halo that much. Weeks later, I got the 360 and never got off H3.

From then on, I got every Halo. I became a “Fanboy” but it was justified since Halo is such a good franchise. The stories are way better than a lot of the games I have played and the multiplayer is great. Halo 5 just felt refreshing and I look forward to spending many hours on the game

The hype is real.

I’ve played every halo game to date except spartan strike (will pick up soon) and I’m not going to miss the newest installment of my favorite franchise. Microsoft knows this, hence they won’t stop funding halo games anytime soon!

Because i am a halo player a halo player’s are G.
Because of Halo player’s they put G in the alphabet.
