Why are you buying halo 4? Is it because your a hard core halo fan, or is it because you want to fit in with your friends at school? Or, its because you are one of CoD fans who heard about all of the changes being made in halo 4. I am buying halo 4 because of my clan, and because i am exited for the campain. So tell me waypoint, why are you buying halo 4?
Im buying halo 4 because it’s awesome, i have been playing halo since 2002. It won’t be now i will stop playing halo
1: Because I’m a diehard fan
2: Because its Halo
3: Because I’m not going to skip any Halo game
4: Because it looks bloody fantastic
The real question is why are you on a Halo 4 forum asking why people are getting the game?!
No hate but… Common sense!
OT: Because I’ve waited 5 long years… 5 years of hell to see MC.
Campaign all the way. Been a fan of Halo since CE.
Cod whats that? Never heard of it?
buying Halo 4 because I’ve plaed them all and like the story
I’m buying Halo 4 to see if the second trilogy is worth it(which means atleast a lot better than Reach.)

I am asking because everybody here is buying the game for different reasons. I only wanted to find out what those reasons are.

This x10
Because the intricate story is to amazing to miss out on.
Because It’s the most appealing multiplayer game this year.
Because I have all the games and all the novels.
Because Halo is freakin awesome! =D
1.- I’m a die hard fan (though I haven’t played all the titles yet, but eventually I will).
2.- I’ve played some other shooters, and they’re all crap: gears of war is waay too slow for my taste, and cod has no reticule plus kill times are for kids (you can’t really tell who’s a good player because everybody can get a kill shooting at the abs, knees, feet), and the animations and overall-polish are a money rip-off, because it shows they spent a little time developing the game, therefore rushing it…because they know there’s a lot of people who will buy it anyway…so why try harder?
Halo, on the other hand is top notch. You can tell developers spent the time to craft it good. OF COURSE they intend to get money out of it, but I see a work of love and passion for what they do, not just some rush to meet deadlines, deliver to the masses and get the kids’s money.
3.- The story is a masterpiece (I’ve read a couple of novels), and I can’t wait to know what’s next for Master Chief and Cortana (also I really really would like to see Buck as a Spartan IV; he’s a kick -Yoink- character).
forge, i just want a new forge landscape
- It’s Halo
- I’ve been playing it since 2001
- It’s Halo
- Master Chief!
- It’s frikking awesome
- Oh, and it’s Halo!!
I’m buying it because it’s seems to be/feel like more “Halo” than any Halo game has in recent history, and I’ve been playing Halo since 2001. I love it, and it’s pretty much the only shooter I play, and definitely the only one I play online multiplayer.
And because it’s not Reach.
I’m buying it because despite what everyone says, it’s still Halo.
The campaign, forge, custom games, spartan ops, multiplayer…
ALL of it is going to be amazing.
-played since ce
-its HALO!
-it looks Freaking AWESOME no matter how many little kids on forums whine -Yoink- and moan
-I like shooters with overshields!
Its Halo 4… thats why Im buying Halo 4. I’ve been waiting for a continuation of Halo 3 for 5 years, thats a long time to wait for a game that I had no idea existed until a year ago… I could care less if none of my friends get Halo 4, Im buying it because I want it. I did not enjoy the side stories that was ODST and Reach and I want Master Chief back already.
I believe I answered your question.
I’m buying Halo 4 because it haz the BR.
-a new game, a new developer, a new direction, a renewed hope
-loyal Halo fan. I have not played all the Halo games but I have played most of them, any Halo game that I could get I played thoroughly, no matter how many times I had to smash my Xbox 360 or wipe the sweat from my fingers from holding the controller for hours or lose a lot of sleep pushing a bunch of marines around for hours or getting the perfect positioning for launches, etc., and I stuck with the newer games (specifically Halo 3) in their waning days (excluding Reach, which I lost interest in and ODST which I lost). I do not plan on abandoning Halo 4 when it gets old… I hope to treasure it like I did with CE (and to a lesser extent Halo 2)
-I hate the newer Bungie Halo games (Halo 3, ODST, Reach), I also get tired of playing CE and Halo 2 from time to time. I need something new!
-I want a better challenge in campaign
-I hope that I will be rewarded favorably for my hard work in the campaign instead of the game giving me the finger
-I hope that I will get a better chance to keep up with competition. I can upload hundreds of videos but they will all be overlooked. With Halo 4, everyone has a fresh start (unless they’re lucky to get it early), and buying it on release date is the perfect opportunity to contribute. I came late into the tricking/glitching scene and I’ve always been late. That will NOT be the case with Halo 4
-it looks great. Enough said
