I returned to Halo after almost 2 months and it’s the same or worse, I had a mission in Party mode and I was waiting 10 minutes for it to connect, to top it off I have to play 20 of those games to only earn 200exp, let’s not even talk about what the customization system is still as limited as on the first day.
Why the hell did they go on vacation at the opening? You’re 3 months behind and the game has cooled down, they’ll probably never get back the momentum that the Halo Infinite premiere hype gave them, so they’ll blame us because we’re a tough audience right?
I’m going back in a month to see if they fixed the matchmaking, hopefully season 2 is infinitely better than this one and they’ve done the job they should have done from the beginning, which is all we’ve already told them, because otherwise I’ll uninstall the game.
Because they knew they would get called out on their BS especially with the new model.
It was pretty much a hit and run like a bat out of hell and hide. Throwing the broken shop in our face is all they cared about. Never mind that they literally lied to the player base face and sold a broken game.
Because the FPS market is broken (full of nothing but either battle royales or tactical shooters, or Call of Duty with its stupid release schedule and association with Activision and Blizzard) and Halo Infinite and Splitgate are the only games I want to play.
Halo Infinite, because of its unique gunplay, MW2019 movement style and the fact it lacks a lifetime KDR stat, is the only one I so far keep coming back to (but limited number of maps is driving me to boredom). Splitgate, I can’t forgive myself over lack of skill for that game, whose gunplay feels more like a generic FPS.
It’s battle Royale’s being USED to heavily push player purchases of Cosmetics as a business model that is, which takes the focus away from developing maps and other mechanics
PUBG and Apex Legends were still able to release new maps. 343 has been silent over anything outside of cosmetics and bugs.
As for mechanics, I’m largely fine with Halo Infinite’s creative direction - I am a Call of Duty refugee, who wants to avoid the game’s stupid release schedule and its association with Activision and Blizzard, but still loves the whole gameplay loop of Call of Duty. For other games though I would be a bit more rightfully concerned, but I’ve found next to nothing that is to my taste these days.
Because they’d otherwise deprive their workers of a Christmas break because Microsoft demanded a November 2021 release. 343 Industries aren’t slavers, you know.
This is a personal issue more than a game one. Because I have been having fun since day 1. Maybe do what you like to do instead of what you don’t like to do?
What if the FPS market is just broken because it’s almost exclusively made up of either battle royales or tactical shooters? I’m not sure yet how I feel about those Doom clones that imitate the original Doom down to the graphics.
I think they genuinely thought they did a good job and it was Christmas so i understand the vacation but before in November they should’ve gathered as much information as they could before December and should have had a plan for afterwards this is just how i think that should’ve went but thats also no excuse for how much is missing in this game or not working glitchs and stuff that was just cut from like halo infinite is fun but also agitating cause it should’ve been better 6 years so iv honestly am taking a break and if i play halo ill probably stick to reach
I prefer a more modern or futuristic shooter to be honest, and despite its pacing and gunplay (recycled from Chicken Royale I hear), Enlisted still tries to put weight in playing the objective.
I’m not suffering anymore, i deleted Infinite over the weekend. I am just not having fun. Lag seems to be worse and the mechanics are inconsistant as ever.
I’ve gradually lost interest over the last few weeks due to the connection issues and the repetitious play. I might come back for events but then again I think of all the cosmetics I unlocked in previous Halo titles and how none of that matters now. I’ll definitely be back for Medic and other new achievements but that’s about the only draw for me.
Precisely how are you going to leave an incomplete game for 3 months?
Be thankful that Halo itself has great gameplay and multiplayer fame, because any other game would have died.
The ideal is that they go on vacation calm with the work done, but the problems were seen before the vacation and some are still there.
