Lost in Translation
I’m trying to do commendations but because 343 is so disorganised most of the enemies are labeled wrong on Waypoint and in the commendation requirements list.
For example one commendation refers to Elite Generals. As there are no Elite Generals in Halo 4 you can see my confusion. So here is the translation for Elites…
Elite Commander = Elite General
Storm Elite = Elite Officer
Elite Ranger = Elite Ranger
Elite Zealot = Elite Zealot
Elite Warrior = Elite Infantry
(Note: this could be wrong… It is just my guess)
I mean, why the hell are there two completely different names for some of these enemies.
Take “Elite Officer Slayer - Kill Elite Officers”. You look for these enemies in game and you won’t find them. So how do you get the commendation? By killing Storm Elites (at least I think you do. I could be wrong)
Does anyone have a full translation of all the commendations and who you ACTUALLY have to kill?
Which is the correct label… Is it Elite General or Elite Commander… Is it Grunt Heavy or Grunt Ultra?

Elite Commander = (The redish coloured ones, think they’re officers, as I’ve maxed out this commendation)
Storm Elite = Elite Infantry (minor elites, blue and whatnot)
Elite Ranger = Elite Ranger (spaaaaaaace)
Elite Zealot = Elite Zealot (funny diamonds on head)
Elite Warrior = (The gold ones)
I think the Ultras are Heavies.
Then who are the Elite Generals. Look in the commendation list in game and it doesn’t match waypoint or the Prima manual.
All I want is to find the correct enemies so I can complete the -Yoink!- commendations. I think 343 changed the names of the various enemies at some stage in development… but in the rush to get the title out they missed updating the commendation requirements list.
Just click on Intel above and select enemies. That is the correct list I think. They just need to update the commendations list.

This is correct.
The game came out a month ago. Give it time, they will fix it.
Yes i was being sarcastic.
I have to go on shape of the head and various patterns on the armour due to being red/green colour blind.
I keep saying this but man is it so glaringly obvious that they rushed the title out the door before it was ready. It’s like Microsoft yelled at someone over the phone to get to work when they’ve overslept and the person has rushed to get ready, forgotten his trousers and is wearing pink fluffy slippers of his wifes instead of shoes and instead of his briefcase he has grabbed his sons sports bag.
And then he wonders why people are laughing at him when he gets to work.
Rushing stuff out the door before it is thoroughly checked just annoys the customers.
