Why are there still helmets without visors?

I’m currently using a helmet without a visor and I have mixed feelings about it since It lacks the customization a helmet with a visor has, but it just looks too neat with it’s matching armor not to use it. I guess in a game with diminished customization the visor-less helmet is just previously established concession from the previous games. Helmets without visors have bugged me since they first appeared and I guess they are just here to stay.

If you don’t have a good visor color yet, it’s nice to have the option to go without one.

Sometimes a small camera is better protection than a really strong piece of glass tint blue or black.

I use the visorless Mako helmet 1. because it looks cool and 2. in SWAT it seems easier to target the head when opponents have big flashy visors. Once I get the midnight or a dark visor I’ll probably move on to another though.

Not every type of helm-suit needs a visor. Not only are there varying strengths of them to be grown, there are different properties for them.

To mix and match certain properties, not using a visor at all, or combining it in small uses with other types of sensors is what gets the job done.

it actually makes more sense in terms of defense.

Never really been a fan of these either but there are some people in the world who do so I’d rather them have the ability to use them than not have the option.

I play Destiny to and that has closed blocky helmets galore! Maybe some of the people from that game would appreciate these Halo helmets? lol

I didn’t realize there were helmets without visors. Or do you mean the helmets which are completely covered?

I have 2 eyeless helms, but sometimes they give a tactical advantage.

For some reason they made the Pioneer helmet visorless.
