Like what the heck. I’ve got at least 30 - 40 visors right now and nearly half of them look exactly the same, with the only difference being a VERY slight change in color or different description. This legendary visor I have called “rex” (I think it’s called that), looks completely identical to 3 other visors I have, including the recruit visor.
Plus, why do we have like 20 different variants for purple visors? Is the design team too uncreative to make something completely new and unique instead of just altering a purple visor template and releasing it every update? At this point I feel it’s just filler to keep us getting new items in req packs.
You nailed it. It’s all just filler. By making the REQ grind absolutely unbearable, they think we’ll be motivated to spend real money. But spending real money just gets you… 3 new shades of purple visors. As they say, a fool and his money are soon parted…

That sounds about right.
I haven’t spent a single dime on this game other than the 60$ for the preorder.
Although this game is really fun, and I’d be playing it today regardless if there were reqs or not, req packs are kind of fun to grind for. Like, I like wanting to push for 10k points by the end of the hour to get a gold pack hoping I might get a nice armor or something but it’s really disheartening when I open it and it’s two purple visors, the only difference being the light and dark blue tint at the edge of the visor.
to waste your one ultra rare item with another damn green visor.

they say to the public but in their heads it’s either…
“CRAP WE’VE GO 27 SPACES TO FILL FOR THE NEXT CONTENT UPDATE AND WE HAVE NOTHING TO FILL THEM”.
“JUST RE-SKIN SOME OF THE ARMOUR AND WEAPONS AND CHANGE SOME VISORS TO A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT SHADE THAT’LL KEEP THE FOOLS AT BAY”.

They dug themselves a hole and they are trying to get out using lazy tactics and the sad thing is…people have fallen for it.
