Why are there so many perks?

So many game changers, so now we can change the damage of our grenades and alter the speed in which we reload. In addition to all the other game modifers, Is this all really necessary?

Battles should NOT be won because of a perk choice made before the encounter.

How is reloading faster going to win you a BR battle unless both players suck so bad they miss 80% of their shots? Oh and it does NOTHING to the damage of the nades, increase radius =/= increase damage.

Where the -Yoink- do you guys hear this? It increases the size of the explosion, but decreases how much damage it deals.

Its beating around the bush

Its to add a variety to the game and allow you to change things up.

Also, I have yet to see something that sticks out that just looks way OP.

No single ability is a game changer. The only game changer I’ve seen so far is the player behind the controller.
