Why is there no armor pieces/customs for playable elites and only for spartans? I wish you could custom your playable elites more like adding more armor pieces, plates and helmets. In Halo 3 you could customize your elite and I don’t know why you can’t do that in Reach.
It probably had something to do with meeting a release deadline, they may not of had enough time to add that feature.
I doubt they even had it planned, just creating the spartan customization took up most of the time and resources

While the Elites in Halo 3 (and Halo 2) were playable across the board in multiplayer, they’re only playable in certain game modes in Halo: Reach like Invasion and Firefight. As playable Elites are something of an afterthought in Halo: Reach, I guess Bungie simply viewed customization options on the level of the Spartans as not being worth the development time.
I think it’s because the Spartans are so customizable that they didn’t have enough time for the Elites also they’re only playable in certain game modes.

Me too that would be really cool.
Just think of it as Elites not being into customization and when they’re a certain trank they wear that armor.
