Just trying to figure out why there would be BR’s on SWAT. I feel like it takes some of the challenge away from the game. The DMR is a semi auto weapon while the BR is a burst shot of 3 bullets. So with the BR, all you have to do is drag the scope right across their heads, and boom it’s a kill. I just think that 343 should take out he BR’s because it makes it a little unfair if one player is using a BR, and the other is using a DMR. I’m currently using the BR so I have the fair advantage in the game. So 343, if you’re seeing this, please take out the BR.
I know it’s been said in this thread before but I think it’s to make the halo 3 swat players happy and the reach fans happy. In most games the BR does give a bit of an advantage but I find myself switching back and forth throughout matches when I’m in a slump. I have found that on some of the larger maps a DMR has helped for long distances where the BR had some bullet stray. I’m happy having them both because I used to play a lot of swat with the BR and then a lot on reach with the DMR.
BR has the advantage for close-range skirmishes in SWAT, but DMR completely owns it from any reasonable range. If you don’t like people killing you with the BR, do the responsible thing and kill them before they get close…

SWAT was invented for the BR! Im so sick of you campers on every single map spamming away with your bullet magnetizing aim assisted mini sniper! This game was supposed to be a return to competitive gaming within Halo, and the DMR has ruined it. Requires absolutely no skill whatsoever to be good with, and has totally dissolved the skill gap between good and bad players. It needs a nerf soooooo badly, and the DMR is the gun that SHOULDNT BE IN SWAT. Period. Its ruining the game for me and thousands of others.
