Why are the team symbols a unicorn and a wolf? Why aren’t they the classic Red team snake and Blue team hawk?
I’m sure there’s an explanation to this, like what your team name/symbol can be, we just don’t know yet.
I would actually prefer (and hope) that they change it to the Snake and Hawk.

Because 343i are composed of bronies and wolfaboos. Lol, I’m just kidding. I honestly do not have the faintest idea. But I would imagine that it would be related to the fact that we’re playing as SPARTAN-IVs in Infinity mode; I figured it may be exclusive to them.

I don’t know but it kinda makes me mad, I liked the old snake and Hawk.
I like the wolf, though I wish the blues would use a lion or something. Red and blue are opposite, like canines and felines.

I don’t mind Bronies, but this is Halo. I’m sure you can use those things as personal emblems, though.
And while we’re on the subject: what the hell is the difference between pegasi and unicorns?
I miss my hawk emblem, cant believe they ever dropped it :((

Pegasi have wings. Unicorns do not. Unicorns have a horn. Pegasi do not.
they said the team names will be random each game. what makes me think that wont be the same for the emblems?

I don’t doubt that it will be changed, but I didn’t hear anything about that in this video.
And Methew, Bronies don’t belong in Halo’s canon.

And so you should keep references to MLP out of it. You don’t have to insert references to My Little Pony in everything. Especially in the case that doing so would be irrelevant, confusing, and detrimental to the product (like Halo 4, in this instance). It’s fine that you like the show. I do as well, but what seperates me from you is that I know when it is relevant and appropriate to express my interest in the show.
I think we need to go back to Purple Parrots and Silver Snakes.
