Why are the servers laggy

I live in the US, my connection is 50mbps down 25mbps up. That’s plenty for every other online game I play. Why is this game so laggy?

They don’t want to spend the money getting additional server resources. Which is an absolute ridiculous reason when your livelihood depends on the health of this one franchise

That would be an improvement. The Halo servers are far worse.
