Obviously this is another way which they are “evolving” the Halo franchise to be CoD. If not then give me an explanation of the why it is this way.
If I recall each kill in CoD is 100 not 10
so that other things can also count towards a win, such as assists, if it was counted in 1s then this isn’t possible.

You get extra points for killing in style.

Does it matter? What if they just did away with the scores and made it pointless killing?

You want a reason? Just like when Bungie gave you 3 credits for every kill you got in Halo Reach. So it will contribute to building up XP to leveling up and unlocking weapons.
Just because I like Halo and have been playing it for years doesn’t make me a blind sheep. Get educated scrubcake.
To account for assists. Also, would you rather earn 1xp, or 10xp?

Actually yes, you are a blind sheep. If you actually have been playing Halo for years you would know these changes make no sense and shouldn’t be in a Halo game, but you are still buying it anyway despite there being many elements that will break this game.
Yet another off-the-rails thread that gets locked because people resort to ad hominem and nonconstructive bickering.
when I first is the points I was mad I did not want halo. but I learned it was different than I thought. in a slayer game the winner must be first to get a number of kills instead of going by 1 they made it 10 for no good reason. There is also an individual point system which decides who comes 2nd and mvp in games, for this you get points for assist and head shots, ect. I like this because now I will not finish behind some that only had 1 more kill than me when I have a ton more of assist.
