Halo 1 had left-handed Jackals.
Halo 2 had left-handed Jackals.
Halo 3 had left-handed Jackals.
Halo 4 has right-handed Jackals.
Yet another example of 343i changing things for absolutely no reason.

Well… to be honest i didn’t notice it, but yeah, 343 just changed a lot of things just because they wanted to be different, like the new sounds… ohh god the new sounds are terrible, and they actually made the announcer sound annoying sometimes… and holy crap! I also just noticed how ugly and different the new Jackals… pretty much everything in Halo 4 is ugly, even the new Spartans, why did 343 had to change almost EVERYTHING?!
Is this really that big of a deal? So you shoot them on the right hand an slide up and nail their head.
I knew something was different about them… besides the headshot hitboxes being off…

Jackals were right-handed in Halo: Reach. Bungie changed it, not 343i.
It depends on the jackal, and because everything else is right handed, 343 didn’t change to be different, they changed the jackal to be the same.
also righthanded bungie jackal concept or just a cg background they made

exactly

They wanted to make them less sinister.

yet again 343 didnt change it, Everyone’s oh so precious can do no wrong Bungie changed it in Reach

Nah forget it man.
You cannot convince the 343i haters to believe BUNGIE made mistakes in their time.

Agreed.
It’s like the whole forum has suddenly forgotten who actually made Reach.
They are right-handed because 343i thought none would give a crap. Apparently they were wrong.

You are probably right, It is a shame about it though
You know… You should really do some research before blaming 343 Industries for everything you don’t like… As it was posted before, it was Bungie who made the Jackals right handed in Reach. 343 Industries seemed to have just stuck with how Bungie did things, same goes for the Concussion Rifle turret on the Phantoms.
Also… Honestly… Does it really matter in which hand the Jackals hold their weapons? Does it change anything at all by stopping you from enjoying the Halo 4 experience? I don’t want to sound rude here, but it seems as though you’re complaining for the sake of complaining, nothing more.
I think we should just agree that Jackals are ambidextrous and leave it at that…

Come on now, their left hands just got tired so they switched for awhile… later on maybe they will go back to left when their right hands get tired out.

lol which supports my claims on them being ambidextrous
I had to seriously laugh at this… I have played Halo: CE to Halo 4 and never cared enough to pay attention, I see one I kill it… figured since I am SR 130 now probly finally go play Halo: CE Aniv., are their sheilds any diff?
