I don’t know what else to say. I am continually frustrated by the controls in Halo 5: The Guardians. I really want to like the game, but multiplayer feels incredibly frustrating. I don’t know if it’s a combination of lag and the controls or perhaps just the controls. In single player I don’t see any problems. Single player is fine albeit a little static, and as many reviewers have mentioned master chief with a team feels wrong.
On the other hand, in multiplayer I constantly have the feeling that I have died to fewer hits than I should, that I can’t turn fast enough to track my enemies even at sensitivity 10, and that I have died when I should have lived.
I can’t say this is hard fact but I pre-ordered Halo 5 and it is my continual perception. Every time I sit down to play I log out frustrated, and angry. And this has not been my feeling with past Halos, Titanfall, or Destiny. So I don’t know what’s different here, but I don’t like it.
