Pretty sure if there were actually hackers, they were desperate for those 5 streaks to get the skin, or were gatekeeping with aimbot to prevent other players from getting streaks. Either way, weekly ended, so they have a new set of weekly challenges to interfere with. Get yours done ASAP before they do, I guess.
My theory was maybe that they were just testing their new hacks in social before trying ranked. I’ve run into ranked cheaters too, and friends I play with have videos of others. It’s getting worse fast.
They would probably cheat regardless of the mode - but maybe they were finishing the killing spree ultimate challenge in fiesta?
Besides remarkably short TTK, are there any hallmarks of cheating. To be fair people do sometimes just hit perfect. But 343 does acknowledge that cheating on pc is an issue.
I have a clip of someone using a commando like an SMG Cross map and getting perfect headshots with every bullet, then switching to a sniper and free firing for an overkill. It’s clear they’re just shooting and not aiming from how they’re moving. They don’t have to do any fancy movements because the game is freely giving them hits.
So far that’s a hallmark of the people cheating, they have terrible map awareness and movement skills, they probably never even played a halo before and are just taking advantage of a new game they can cheat in.

I saw a couple of videos, yep, there´s cheating I didn’t deny it, just haven’t really paid attention. that is why I want a disable crossplay option.

How does that help those of us on pc
If you see someone you think is cheating, go watch them in theatre, if they are definitely cheating record some clips and send them to support.halowaypoint. That’s probably the best way to report rn, hopefully 343 gets a handle on the cheating quickly.
