I need an honest question answered. I don’t understand why 343 has been doing this thing since Halo 4 where they add limited time playlists and then remove them. It’s the main reason why I stopped playing the game. There’s very little content in the playlist aspect. Can anybody inform me why this is the case?
I don’t know. And if it’s just temporary, they should remove it-make it better and add it, remove it-make it better etc.
Becuz it’s 343. I honestly think they should make a social playlist combining most of the modes like social ctf and slayer and multi team
We already have no slayer playlist with more than 4 people on a team which makes me and my friends when we have a large group just play other games but we’d prefer halo. We just don’t like objectives and since you can’t vote that’s not going to work for us.
If you have played any Halo for a longer period of time you will feel the community spreading it self across to many playlists, and it takes for ever to find a match. The typical playlists that always had a lot of people are 4v4 slayer, btb, Griffball, swat and infection. Other playlists often tend to have smaller populations. It just makes the community tighter than if there were 10-12 playlists. Trying to find a match in a playlist with 30 people can be like hell. And on top of it all you’ll be matched with someone on the antipode of your location!
343i wants fewer playlists to consolidate players. Fewer playlists means more populated playlists, which means faster matchmaking times. So the rotate particular gametypes to add a bit of variety but keep fast matchmaking times. I understand the thought behind their system but I’m not a fan of all the forgotten gametypes (Oddball, KOTH, to name a couple).

Agreed
Oddball would be nuts with halos new play mechanics.
Miss territories and 3/5 plots most.
Breakout would be crazy with a territory game type. Offense deffence territory with it being the defenders base
I just think it’s 343’s way of making Halo “theres”. They tried to put the emphasis on Warzone and REQs. It’s a cool idea but I don’t care for it at all. I’d much rather wait a little longer to play games that I wanted to like Double Team, Oddball and KOTH vs not having them.
