Why are Plasmas thrown so slowly?

I’m not sure if it’s my lag, but I have noticed some serious drag as opposed to Halo 3 and Halo Reach. It feels like I’m throwing tiny parachutes, or into a powerful gust of wind.

Because of this, it screws with my timing. I’ve missed some particularly easy sticks because of this molasses-like pitch.

Can’t tell ya, people only throw point-blank stickies these days so I can’t gauge the air time they have.

It’s actually better once you get used to it. I’m able to stick people the instant they come around a corner by estimating how close they are, and throwing before I can see them.

I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve been particularly frustrated with my inability to consistently stick people as compared to Reach, but perhaps it’s like the above poster says, and once I get used to the new timing I’ll actually prefer it.

The magnetism of the grenades is way boosted IMO

Sprint + Throw Plasma = Fast and straight.

I prefer the speed of the grenades thrown while in free fall from jetpack

It feels like the plasma grenade is inconsistent. I throw it at people and vehicles some times and it bounces off.

Maybe they feel like it.
