Why are people trash talking Halo 5?

I want to hear some LEGIT reason why everyone thinks this game will fail. I hear a lot about the sprint and its like call of duty. Every game is copying from each other. Call of duty got the thrust packs from titanfall so its not like they are the first either. Yes its different from other halos but thats the point. if the game was the same everytime then it wouldnt be fun. Plus those that play competitive, they will probably take out sprint at least. i can see thrust staying. but that is the only reason i see people say “halo is dead”. its not dead. You are all just scared of change and hate that its a little different. Look how much cod changed. Nobody seems to hate on that. Why cant we just except that it happened and its there. use the abilities to your advantage and stop hating. the only reason “halo is dead” is because you judge a game before the game is released. The beta isnt even out yet. GIVE IT A F**KING CHANCE. trash taking the game is ruining the community.

-The AR is too powerful
-the way they tried to fix sprint didn’t work, and only made it worse.
-kill times are way too fast.
-base movement speed is way too slow
-there are a lot more.

honestly, I want you to go watch a game of halo 3 and then a game of this and tell me the difference that you see. Look at how fast people die, and how there is almost no movement involved in the combat for the beta. Look at how instead of being required to hit head shots to win, now all you have to do is spam the AR. As someone who is adamantly against comparing new halo stuff to CoD (if you don’t believe me look at my post history) this is getting dangerously close to CoD kill times. When you sprint around, because you are forced to do to the snails pace of a base movement speed, you get kill almost instantly when going around corners. Sure, you could say that you shouldn’t sprint around corners then, but that’s not the point. The point is that you should have a fighting chance when in a dual with another person. It the beta you don’t have that. Stafing is nonexistent because the base movement speed is so low, and you barely jump off of the ground.

The AR does need some twerking on it’s ranged damage.

You are punished heavily for Sprinting when you shouldn’t sprint and it is a very good Balance IMO.

Kill times actually are not that much faster than Halo 3.

Base Movement Speed is that same as it was in Halo 4 which is 10% faster than Halo 3.

If you sprint around a corner and didn’t see the big red dots on you motion tracker before, then your dumb blam deserve to die in that engagement.

Great game I love it. He wants a halo 2 clone.

It seems like a lot of people HATE change. The game isn’t for everyone. No game is. I can understand why some people don’t like it, but there are way too many who are so closed minded about the changes that they won’t let themselves enjoy the game.

All the things I’ve always wanted to do in Halo, the movement, the jumps, the dodges, the hovering in the air long enough to make a shot from an odd angle - all of it is here. I never thought it would work, but it does. I’m a 13-year-vet. I’ve been playing Halo since CE came out in 2001. I have been playing Halo since I was 10, and for those who can’t math, I am 23-years-old. I thought that Reach and 4 were, from a multiplayer aspect, objectively bad games. I swear H5:G justifies my Xbox One to me. Every time I die in Halo 5, I see a way I could have survived. If you get good with all the abilities, you can dominate. I thirst for those rare moments in MM where you meet an opponent in a straight 1v1 BR fight in old Halo, but in H5, matching wits with somebody means out-flanking, out-dodging, out-shooting, and finally, straight-up out-thinking your enemy. I can’t stop playing this game.
